The cat is out of the bag

The cat is out of the bag
So you might be wondering what I mean about the Cat is out of the Bag. Well, I decided in 2019, that I wanted to start my art business, 3 P's in a Pod Art Studio. It was a way of transitioning out of my current career and have a way to put my two loves together - art and travel. I would be able to share what I know, sell what I love to do art, travel and see a whole bunch of places I still have not gotten to.

So where am I today, like the rest of you, dealing with the Covid crisis. I have had a whole lot of challenges, still working in my same career, concerned regarding the future, tried some things to promote my art business, family things going on, and boy, do have have a huge learning curve to get through.

At some point, life might be OK for travel again. I have learned how to photograph my art, post it in my art website - 3psart.ca, and am now learning how to do a blog and take videos and post those.

Here is my first attempt. I posted it on facebook so here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/3PsArt/videos/346680617072292.

Practice what you preach

Practice what you preach
Headed to the family cottage for a well deserved vacation. Had to wait for travel to open up first though. The cottage is on the delightful Northumberland shore. I had hoped to sunny weather all week but instead got what I needed. I headed there to recharge my batteries. I had not realized just how tired I was. So I took time to just rest, relax, be present, walk my dog. Got 3 sunny days so on those days, I did head for the beach and listened to the waves. Boy, that is the best sound ever! It always calms me down. Walking into the water was a challenge as the ocean is still very cold. I call it refreshing but only ducked to my shoulders. A second attempt made it icy. It never did warm up in those 3 sunny days. But it was great to get back into the ocean.

SOOO - what did I learn to do? When stressed, you need to take some time to rest, relax, be present and recharge the batteries. I got to completely walk my talk and practice what I preach.
